Mighty Films is an independent documentary production company located in British Columbia, Canada. We focus on character-based social, political and cultural films.

Erika Drushka is a director and editor from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. After completing her degree at Concordia University in Montreal she began work as a documentary editor. In 2003 she returned to B.C. and spent two years immersed in a treeplanting community to direct the film Rooted Lives.

Since then she has worked developing and producing a variety of other documentary projects. She divides her time between Victoria and a tiny island in Barkley Sound where she lives and works off the grid by using solar power, collecting rainwater off her roof and fishing for salmon in her kayak.
